Super Crush Launch & Sunstroke’s 5th Birthday Party

WZRD Media’s The Midnight Corner hit capacity as the youth of Salt Lake City came together to celebrate Sunstroke’s fifth birthday and the release of our sixth print issue, Super Crush.
Food, drinks, skating and shopping local vendors like Not Yer Mom’s Vintage, Saints SLC, BigBugHive, Oyster Upcycle, Tooth Gems with Elida Silvey, Chisme, Painted Lady, Syd’s Brimz, Lolly’s Cold Rolled Ice Cream and tattoo artist Skin Gallery kept the crowd interested and energetic through the night. The launch party also featured an open bar and live music from Bad Mouth and Who Killed Candace, the latter featured in Super Crush.

The release of our fifth volume, Stranger Than Fiction, marked our first in-person event since 2018. Even when we sold out copies of the zine, we celebrated with live performances from Fake Nice, Kipper Snack and The Sportsman at Salt Lake City’s Kilby Court.
