PÄLÏLÄ

“PÄLÏLÄ means free spirit in French Polynesia, ready to soar through the world with grace and beauty, inspired by Mona Cordes’ travels. The main symbol is the spiral.

Curly, growing ferns in deep rainforests, mosquito incense repellent spirals and spirals in Polynesian tattoo art. Animals are spiraling into themselves for their protection, like snails or snakes. The symbol of the spiral is universal. The spiral is open-ended, and its form is visually pleasing and calming. Although, spiraling can also be within your thoughts like in a labyrinth.

We created movements to this theme in areas with natures, waters and playgrounds to show the spirits of playfulness and the spring feel.” – Mona Cordes
